How to compare it
Mount hole pattern
Lets us recommend compatible universal mounts. Store the coordinates and the centre-of-gravity offset when known.
Tripod socket
A standard camera-tripod thread on the base.
A big portable plus.
Standard: ISO 1222 (¼″-20 UNC)
Exhaust / intake direction
Where hot air leaves and cool air enters.
Decides whether it can go on a shelf, against a wall or in a cabinet. Front exhaust can cause heat shimmer in the beam.
Standard: Vendor / manual
Deep cut
Exhaust / intake direction. Exhaust passing through the projected beam causes visible 'heat haze' wobble on the image. It's a real issue on some rear-shelf placements.
