Warranty(years)
Compare within a region. Some premium brands offer 3 years in the US and 5 in parts of Europe.
Light-source warranty
Specific cover for the lamp, laser or LED: years and/or hours, whichever comes first.
Lamp warranties are often 90 days to 1 year. Laser 'life' claims backed by a 3–5 year warranty are the meaningful ones.
