CVIA lumens

CVIA lumens are a brightness unit from a Chinese group standard, 《投影机光输出技术要求和测试方法》. The China Electronic Video Industry Association (中国电子视像行业协会) published it in about April 2023. It is not a GB national standard.
The reported rules are these. The measured output must be at least 80% of the labelled value. The measurement must use a white point from 6000 K to 18000 K, with Duv limits. Because of this, a maker cannot reach the number in a bright mode with a green tint. JMGO announced its change from ANSI to CVIA in March 2023.
Epson says that CVIA is not a standardised metric. Brands in the Chinese market cite it. Don't convert a CVIA figure to ISO or ANSI lumens, because the methods differ.
