Focus, autofocus and focus uniformity
How focus is adjusted. Motorized means by remote; auto means by camera or ToF sensor.

How to compare it
Focus
Motorized focus matters for ceiling mounts. Autofocus matters for portables that move.
Focus uniformity
Whether the centre and corners can be in focus at the same time.
A common failure on cheap and UST lenses. Reviewers note it, and spec sheets never do.
Standard: Reviewer observation (no standard)
Autofocus
Focuses automatically when the projector moves (gyro) or the image changes.
Portable must-have. On fixed installs it can be a nuisance if it hunts.
Standard: Vendor (ToF / camera)
Deep cut
Focus. Laser/LED engines that heat up shift focus during warm-up (thermal drift). Good autofocus re-checks after ~10 minutes, and some manual-focus lenses need re-touching once warm.
Focus uniformity. Field curvature and tilt in the lens or panel mount cause it. It's often unit-to-unit variance, so a single review is weak evidence. Store as `observed.*` with counts.
Autofocus. Uses a ToF distance sensor or camera contrast detection. Camera-based focus beats ToF on angled or textured walls.
