Throw distance

Throw distance is the distance from the lens to the screen. The ISO/IEC 21118 standard measures it from the screen to the outermost lens element.

For UST projectors, manufacturers quote the distance from the back of the unit or from the wall, and they are not consistent. Check where a quoted distance is measured from.
