How to compare it
Brightness by mode(lm)
The useful number is accurate-mode lumens, i.e. `observed.calibrated_lumens`.
Calibrated lumens(lm)
Output after calibrating to D65 and the target gamma.
The most useful brightness number for picture-quality buyers.
Standard: Reviewer, D65-calibrated mode
Deep cut
Brightness by mode. On DLP, Bright mode typically engages the white segment and BrilliantColor and drops the colour filter. Removing those for accuracy can cost a large fraction of output. 3LCD loses less, and wide-gamut LCoS modes with a filter lose a lot.

Calibrated lumens / measured lumens
Brightness measured by a reviewer in the most accurate (calibrated D65) picture mode. Usually 50–80% of the rated figure. This is the most useful real-world brightness number, and it is a review-sourced comparable. ⚖ observed.calibrated_lumens, observed.max_lumens ↑
