Editor's notes. Brightness: Epson states white light output per ISO 21118 and colour light output per IDMS 15.4, both 4,000 lumens (Epson US and Epson Europe: 4,000 lm normal, 2,000 lm economy). No post-lawsuit restatement was seen; the figures follow the standard Epson wording already.
Throw: the Epson US page gives no throw-distance spec; only picture captions ("100-inch just 17.3-inch from the wall", "120-inch just 20.2-inch from the wall"). Epson Europe gives throw ratio 0.16-0.40:1 and "Projection Distance Wide 0,3 m (90 inch screen)" but no tele value and no stated reference point. Hence optics.throw_distance_reference and optics.projection_distance_m are omitted. Epson Europe also gives an offset of 7:1, not recorded because its meaning is unclear.
Regional differences: US variants V11HA90120 (black) and V11HA90020 (white); EU model EH-LS800B uses V11HA90140 (the EU white EH-LS800W SKU was not read). EU weight 12.3 kg vs US 27.6 lb; EU gives dimensions in mm. Epson US lists the product as discontinued (replacement: Lifestudio Grand Plus V11HB83020). The press release launch price was $3,499; the epson.com page read later showed an Our Price of $3,799.99 for the black unit.
Not recorded: UPC (not on Epson pages), HDR10 support (page only states 10-bit HDR processing and HLG), input lag (US page gives both "Less than 20 milliseconds" and "16.7ms" with no resolution), light source type (page says laser array/True Laser Diode, no phosphor/RGB statement), native chip resolution, image-size range (US: "up to 150 in"; EU 80-150 only from a secondary summary).
