Sources

Editor's notes. Source is Sony's US store page (the pro.sony and sony.com spec pages and PDFs returned 403 to fetchers; the store page was read through a browser session). Spec table rows are quoted from that page's embedded product data. Left out: contrast (Sony gives '∞: 1 (Dynamic Contrast)', which is not a number); input lag (page says 'under 21 ms' at 4K 60 Hz and 'under 13 ms' at 2K 120 Hz, which are upper bounds, not measurements); HDMI version/bandwidth (not stated in the table; the page does not mention HDMI 2.1 and trade press says 4K120 is unsupported, not verified here); imaging.technology (Sony says SXRD, which is a brand; no 'LCoS' wording on the page). light.source, hdr.formats and the IMAX Enhanced certification come from the page's FAQ block, which is labelled as generated on the page, so an editor may want to re-check them against the manual. DCI-P3 95% is Sony's 'about 95%' claim. A white variant exists on the store (code vplxw5000es-w); its MPN is not confirmed, so it is not listed. Sony US sells it with a 3-year limited warranty when bought direct. 'mpn' uses Sony's model number because no separate part number appears on the page. No UPC found. Release and announce dates omitted: no primary press release could be opened. Brightness is labelled 'Color Light Output' by Sony without naming a standard, so it is stored as an unspecified claim.
